The CPC Leadership Group of Municipal Government held the 17th meeting in 2024 on July 8 to convey and learn the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinpiing’s important speeches and instructions made recently and the spirit of relevant central meetings, and research the implementation opinions of government system. Wan Guangming, Vice Secretary of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee, Mayor of Nanchang City, and Secretary of the CPC Leadership Group of Municipal Government, presided over the meeting.

It was pointed out at the meeting that we should deeply learn and implement the spirit of Xi’s important speech made during his inspection tour of Jiangxi, deeply grasp the overall target and arrangement of comprehensively deepening reform, focus on Nanchang’s demand for high-quality development, research and plan our city’s specific measures to further deepen the reform in all aspects, accelerate to boost the reform of key fields and links, focus on solve deep-level barrier and structural contradictions in restricting high-quality development, provide powerful support to comprehensively carry out the strategy of provincial capital city guidance, and deeply advance the construction of “one junction and four centers”, uphold the Party’s absolute leadership over the military, implement the strategy of strengthening the development of the People’s Liberation Army by enhancing its political loyalty in the new era, take more active initiative in caring for and supporting national defense construction, complete the cross-field and cross-sector coordination advancement mechanism between the military and civilian sectors, enhance efforts to support the military and their families, do a good job in service guarantee, and actively promote the city-wide national defense mobilization and the construction of reserve force.
