A special meeting of the Secretary of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee was held on July 8 to listen to the report on the “Implementation Plan of Nanchang City to Promote the High-quality Development of Low-altitude Economy (2024-2026)”, and research and arrange relevant work to comprehensively promote the high-quality development of low-altitude economy. Li Hongjun, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee, presided over the meeting. Hu Xiaohai, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Nanchang City, Mei Feng, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Nanchang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhao Jie, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Nanchang Municipal Committee and Vice Mayor of Nanchang City, and Yu Hongyan, Vice Mayor of Nanchang City, attended.

It was stressed at the meeting that low-altitude economy is a promising strategic emerging industry, and Nanchang boasts good foundation and broad prospects for developing low-altitude economy. We should deepen the implementation of “8810” action plan, target at the field of low-altitude manufacturing, give play to our city’s fundamental advantages in aviation manufacturing, vigorously advance the strong development of leading enterprises, accelerate the breakthroughs in key and core technologies and the application of achievement transformation, create a number of leading enterprises in low-altitude manufacturing and specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products, boost the formation of coordinated development chain of low-altitude manufacturing industry integrating R&D, manufacturing, trial flight, testing, and repair. We should actively expand scenario application, increase policy guidance and support, expand the demonstration application in traffic guidance, forest fire prevention, and emergency rescue, cultivate emerging business types like urban air commuting, drone logistics distribution, etc., seize the opportunity of national development of low-altitude economy, actively strive for the pilot work of low altitude airspace reform, vigorously introduce high-quality enterprises and high-level innovation team, accelerate to boost the development of low-altitude economy industry, form new quality productive forces, and create new impetus and advantages of development.

It was stressed at the meeting that relevant departments at all levels should focus on serving full industrial chain development of low-altitude economy, combine with our city’s industrial foundation and resource conditions, target the entry point and point of force, take the lead in pilot work, make efforts to make breakthroughs, speed up to introduce the “Implementation Plan of Nanchang City to Promote the High-quality Development of Low-altitude Economy (2024-2026)”, endeavor to establish industrial development and guarantee support system of low-altitude economy, further strengthen and optimize low-altitude economy, and boost the city’s high-quality development.
